When we opened the server to the public on August 1, 2023, we shared a project that had already taken years of thought, effort, and commitment. What followed was more than three years of a story we wrote together.
There were good days and difficult ones. There were bugs, setbacks, and moments of real frustration. There was also laughter, discovery, and the satisfaction of seeing something we cared about become something you cared about too. We did not always get everything right, and we are grateful for the patience and honesty you showed us along the way.
What we value most today is what those years gave us: good memories, shared experiences, and friendships that may stay with us for the rest of our lives. As developers and players, we leave this chapter with something worth keeping.
To every player who gave Darkrest.Online their time, trust, and support: thank you. Our greatest achievement was bringing people together, and that achievement belongs to you as much as it does to us.
If you have questions, reflections, or a memory you would like to share, join us on Discord. I will be there to listen and answer.
With gratitude,
Matt & Prawdziwy
